Is there a pity system for FGO? ›

The pity system in Fate/Grand Order activates at 330 rolls. You can check your pity counter on the banner you are rolling from. The pity will only activate once, and will not carry over to another banner.

Rated up 4* SR servants have *1.5% chance* of being summoned. You have 1/2 chance from the 3% chance to get the rated up 4*.

Quartz summoning requires either 3 Saint Quartz or 1 Summon Ticket per individual summon, or 30 Saint Quartz to summon 10 cards. When performing a 10x summon (a.k.a. 10-roll), you are guaranteed to summon at least one 3-5★ Servant and one 4-5★ Summon (note: this does NOT change the 5★ rate).

900 Saint Quartz is the amount that would trigger the pity summon.

This only happens once per banner. Any more summons after that will not have any guarantee, but only for that banner itself. 330 rolls refers to spending 900 SQ and getting the free summon 30 more times, so when buying SQ you only need to get 900 and not 990 to hit the maximum amount of pity.

“Soft pity” is when you start hitting 70 to 80 pulls. The rate of getting a 5-star increases more and more as you reach 80, and is when you usually get a 5-star character. But if you're unlucky, you hit “hard pity”; which guarantees you a 5-star on your 90th pull.

Yes. All quartz - both free and paid quartz, as well tickets counts towards Pity System.

Note that you can check the odds in game for each banner. It's always a 1% chance for a 5*, with 0.2% chance of an off banner, non limited/story 5*. So a solo rate up is a 0.8% chance, a shared rate up is 0.4%.

With the standard Summoning Technique, a shinobi summons an animal that they've signed a contract with to their location. The Reverse Summoning Technique does the opposite, allowing an animal to summon a shinobi that has signed a contract with its species to its location.

How to check FGO pity counter? ›

There is another type of pity called soft pity which starts around the 75th roll. This is where the chances of getting a 5-star character/weapon begin to increase. Pity carries over from banner to banner. So, if you roll 75 times before a new banner drops, those rolls will carry over.

Players of the English version of Fate/Grand Order received some good news at the game's Anime NYC Panel. According to Director Yoshiki Kanou, the FGO pity system will debut alongside the Heian-kyo story chapter (a.k.a. Lostbelt No. 5.5).
